Welcome to Glendal Primary SchoolWe are very proud of our achievements at Glendal and view our whole school community as a learning community. All members, students, staff and families are committed to providing the best possible learning environment for our children. All our policies, procedures and decision-making processes are based on the strong underlying principles of ensuring student safety and wellbeing, and inspiring learning opportunities. The information on our website outlines the vision and educational philosophy that makes Glendal so unique. It also provides information on school procedures and processes that families may find helpful from the time their children start at Glendal until they are ready to leave. We regularly present workshops and information sessions for parents in our Mi Café (Meet and Inform) community room. For example on Tuesday mornings we present a beginners Chinese class for parents so that they can support their child's learning of Chinese. We are presenting a series of workshops in Literacy and Numeracy in Terms 2 and 3 and a parent workshop in Emotional Intelligence on 12 May at 7.00 pm. We hope that you find the website a valuable reference and that you too will experience how special Glendal is, as together we share the journey of your children's education. Please contact the school directly if you require more information or would like a school tour. |
