Enrolment - Foundation and other year levels

"We, the Glendal primary school community, acknowledge the value of Aboriginal art, culture and customs as an important part of our Australian heritage.

We respect the work of the Wurundjeri people, who looked after the land we learn, create and play on today and we take responsibility for this country's future."

We have received many international enquiries about short term enrolments, unfortunately we do not accept temporary or short term enrolments. Please share this information within our community.

我校收到许多关于国际学生短期入学学习的咨询, 遗憾的是我们不能接收12个月以下的短期入学申请。 请大家在社区内分享这则信息。

FOUNDATION ENROLMENT PROCESS FOR 2026

Your child must be 5 years old by the 30th of April, in the year that they are starting school. Children are always learning and growing socially, academically and emotionally in a nurturing supportive environment.  We provide a high quality and differentiated curriculum, including emotional and social development.

We would appreciate families, who wish to enrol for 2026, visiting the school to receive a paper enrolment form. This gives us a chance to meet you, answer any questions that you may have and start our enrolment process early. Siblings of current students and new students can be enroled and we can consider students just out of our zone, dependent on vacancies.
Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline for 2026 enrolments
All Victorian government primary schools will follow the timeline in 2025 to support enrolments for the 2026 school year.

Enrolment applications submitted after Friday 25 July 2025 will be processed by schools as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy

To commence online enrolment ( if you are unable to complete a paper enrolment):
Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application.

A Quick Reference Guide to using the online system is available here. https://edugate.eduweb.vic.gov.au/Services/bussys/cases21/Templated%20Communication%20DE/QRG_Digital_Enrolment_Parent_Carer_Guide.pdf

It is important to note that the placement policy is followed by all government schools. You can view the Placement Policy here.

You can indicate your interest in enrolling in our school by contacting our school by phone 9803 1330 and speaking to our enrolment officer Mrs. Trish Richards or emailing glendal.ps@education.vic.gov.au

You may enrol at our school if you reside within our enrolment zone, from now. We accept enrolments throughout the year in Years 1 - 6, where we have vacancies.

Our school zone

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.
